The Last Yiddish Speaker, by Deborah Zoe Laufer
In 2023, The Last Parade , by Stephanie Satie presented this realism on stage for drama, a history of the Jewish Diaspora in reaction to the Ukrainian-Russian War. The Immigration system, and the attraction of America, and emotional reaction to the state of being, during war time. Following the 23-24 Season The Last Yiddish Speaker introduces the ancestral, or an inherited spirit, of Chava. This spiritual character, played by Satie, also leaves us uncertain. She was a real character, simple, a religious figure in exile who appeared and seemingly disappeared, like an ancestral presence.

Here is a conspiracy theory, “What if the 2021 insurrection attempt occurrence at the storming of the Capital of the United States went in favor of far-right political leadership?” And our personal principles are waverly when exiled foreigners, and a youthful generation defends civil rights, meets life or death, under a new regime of far-right religious dogma.
