
Martyna Majok’s Cost of Living, 2024 production at the Philadelphia Theater Company. The movement on stage was reframing the issue of mobility, and their interest with issues of identity. Identifying with care workers articulated disabilities on stage, similarly how social class effectively labels a person.

Rhythm Bath
The set designer, Mimi Lien collaborated with dance artists to bring this sensibility of wellness to the space. The possibilities of wellness, offered an unexpected darkness which bombarded my thoughts, though completely subconscious, this after shock came in waves. Following a sensory time line, Susan Marshall choreographed a delicate movement between the boundaries of dance, the nervous system, and pedestrian. It could only be described on a scale of intensity from high to low stimuli.
